Picked up a pair of Reebok 8K hockey skates. Was really due for some new skates and wanted to invest in a good pair, something I'll keep for 5+ years. I got these for $250 (at Pro Hockey Life on clearance). There are only slight new features for this years 2012/13 version compared to the 8K 2010 model.
These fit amazing out of the box for me. I have pretty wide skated with EE (widest size available) and the heat moulding was even better. The pumps are just darn cool and offer some extra comfort/stiffness in the ankle. I do have some discomfort in the left foot on the side of my toe area. I had these heat formed twice to try to widen the boot more. Its more comfortable now but I get some pain here and there. Overall pretty happy with these skates.

Easton S17 Composite Skate Design
What is Coil Technology™? A one-piece composite boot form that maximizes energy return to give you explosive speed on the ice.
Why do the top pros in the world choose to shoot with Easton composite sticks? More power, lighter weight, and better response. Now our skates offer that same engineered superiority. Coil Technology is twice as responsive as traditional skates which rely on plastic. Our one piece composite boot form stores energy and then releases it to help your foot spring back stride after stride. {Easton} more

New Reebok NHL Jerseys
This year Reebok has designed new jerseys for several NHL teams across the league. Some notables...the new Winnipeg Jets jersey (formerly the Atlanta Thrashers), and the new alternate heritage jersey for the Ottawa Senators. The Senators jersey is a replica of the old on warn by the Senators in the early 1900s. The original jersey was actually analyzed from archives to make sure the colors and graphics were accurate. {NHL.com}
