Alexander Ovechkin signs endorsement deal with Nike Bauer

After a long relationship with Reebok CCM Alex "The Great" has signed a new 6 year deal with Nike Bauer, which includes not only the casual and performance wear of the brand but ALSO will be switching many of his on ice equipment aswell. With a sub par performance at the Olympics and in the NHL last season, he is probably looking for a change. Hockey Gear Review reports he will be carrying the new "APX skates and Vapor 60 gloves, along with using the APX stick. The Nike Mag from the movie Back to the Future will be produced as a limited edition. Only 1500 pairs will be auctioned off for charity to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Awesome....just awesome lol.
